The visit with Peter and Darcy was shorter than we expected, but nice, just the same.  They seemed to like the new Seaman’s Elixir, and were proud to show us their “home” for the past few years, SEA LION.  The boat comes out of charter in September, at which time they will share management duties half of the year with another crew.  They bought a second home in St. Croix to which they invited us for Christmas.  Although a nice invitation, we declined.

We ate dinner at a new place (3 years old) called Foxy’s Taboo on the east end of Jost Van Dyke.  We had sesame-encrusted tuna with a spicy ailoi.  As we started to eat, Steve looked up at me, a little teary-eyed and said, "Every time we eat tuna I think of Kate…because she loves fresh fish…I wish she could be here eating dinner with us…"

Weather has been in the 80’s and90’s…nice water, good snorkeling.  We will be heading to St. Martin at the beginning of next week.  We have sailed 1550 miles since November. Who would have thought?
