We came back to Saba Rock by the Bitter End today. While slowly cruising around the bay looking for a place to anchor, low and behold…there was our old boat! We saw the new owners just as they saw us. We yelled over to them "HEY! We used to own that boat!" They said they already knew and invited us aboard. How strange to go get back on board after 3 three years. It was a very nice visit. They are going to come to see our boat next week. Returning to our boat after an early dinner at Saba, we went past a leopard 45 the same time in charter at the same time as our first SEAMAN’S ELIXIR and who were in the Moorings Owners Group, s/v Sails Call. Surprisingly, the owner was aboard. He and his wife came back in their dinghy to see our boat. What a small world.
We did have a chance to visit with Peter and Darcy. They purchased a new house in St. Croix and are as happy as ever. They will only be working as crew 6 months out of the year starting next year. In addition, as they will be in their new house during the Holidays said we should visit them there when we bring the boat back to the BVI and USVI for the winter.
