We moved around to the east side of the island over the weekend to Orient Bay.  Part of the beach is "suit optional".   There were all shapes and sizes of people with differing degrees of body grooming. Dad and Chuck were totally OK with the women…but could not comprehend men would actually wax…particularly those "sensitive" areas.   All I can say is – it was a real revelation.  Must I say – we all went for the fully suited option?  🙂

We have spent most of our time on the French side of St. Martin, visiting the Dutch side (Simpson by dinghy and Phillipsburg by bus) only once.  We have absolutely loved St. Martin – the food has been spectacular and the French very friendly and helpful.  We had always intended to spend the winter of ’07 in the USVI and BVI…but we are seriously reconsidering our plans and may winter in and around St. Martin.
