We returned to Antigua on Saturday.  John (SOJOURN) was aboard before we had even set the bridle J  had not had a good long visit since Grenada.  He came back for dinner – made my first conch fritters from the one’s LIWARD caught in Barbados – YUM! I used a great recipe from the Sugar Mill Restaurant in Tortola.  If anyone reading the blog would like the recipe let me know and I will post it.

What a low-key day!  The most productive moment  after giving Steve a much needed haircut, was a dinghy ride to the dinghy dock and a walk over to the beach.  Forgetting how terrible the service was at the Castaway Beach Bar, we settled in with dominoes awaiting delivery of a mid-afternoon snack.  Back on the boat, I thawed the last lobster tail from Tobago and made lobster chowder for dinner…another superb recipe from the Sugar Mill, available to any interested cruiser  J just let me know.

Today is a shot day, so Steve busied himself with laundry, grocery shopping and check out.  We plan to leave tomorrow for Guadeloupe…check-in at Deshaies (1 night stop) on to Pigeon Island/Petit Ilet and the Cousteau National Park (1-2 days?), checkout at Les Saintes (1-2 days)possibly squeezing in Marie Galante if the weather is right.  We will tentatively arrive in Portsmouth, Dominica sometime in the first 7 days of May to meet up with Chuck and Barb, TUSEN TAKK II.  It has been far too long (Dare I say October/November 2007?) since we have seen them.  John and Ann, LIVIN’ HE DREAM, and Bob and Susan, FULL MONTY, should also be in the area.

Hard to believe we only have 6 weeks before the boat goes on the hard in Trinidad.
