Barbuda to Jolly Harbor, Antigua.

 

The sail back from Barbuda was not nearly as quick as the one going.  Without a main sail, we relied on motor sailing with the Genoa.

 

Once returned to Jolly Harbor, Steve tried his best to repair the main sail with sail tape.  Neither of us is confident the repair will hold when we next deploy the sail.  Fortunately, the most compromising tear is below the first reef.  We believe we will still be able to use the main sail, reefing if necessary.  Only time will tell.

 

In preparation for our early morning departure on the 17th, we provisioned, topped off fuel and treated ourselves to steaks grilled on the boat.  Early to bed…early to rise…off to Les Saintes.
